Morgan Weanling Gala Update

The Morgan Weanling Gala is well on its way for a very exciting class for 2015 with thirteen great sires nominated as of December 31 and committee members are continuing to campaign for more stallions.
A new web site (www.morganweanlinggala.com), a promotion-oriented Facebook Page (Morgan Weanling Gala) and a dedicated YouTube channel are a few of the new incentives that stallion owners and breeders are taking advantage of as they nominate sires.

The whole promotion package is well worth the cost to nominate and a lot of owners and breeders are taking note.

Any offspring of the following stallions will be eligible to compete in the Morgan Weanling Gala that will be held at the Jubilee Regional Morgan Horse Show at the historic Illinois Fairgrounds in Springfield:
Astronomicallee, Balenciaga, Benediction, Cingate Revelation, Graycliff Tony, Hollybrook Stage Rage, Merriehill After Hours, Minion Millennium, Pondview Tres Bien, Roberto Cavalli, The Ignitor, Whispering War Chant, and WRR Astro Boy.

The Gala Committee and the Jubilee do a great deal to make sure that the Gala is not only a class for weanlings but an evening event to showcase and promote our breed’s up and coming young horses in their first few months of life. The event will be held Friday evening, September 4 following a short lineup of Jubilee’s 50th Anniversary Championship classes. There will be parties for exhibitors, owners, breeders, nominators, trainers and handlers both before and after the classes. It is sure to be an event to remember as everyone celebrates the Morgan Horse.

There is still time to nominate a stallion to the Gala and you do not have to be the Stallion owner to nominate. Go to the Gala web site at www.morganweanlinggala.com for more information and to download nomination agreements.
