2014 Kentucky Fall Classic Offers $2500 Jackpot Stakes

The annual Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show is on schedule for Oct. 1-4, 2014 at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Ky., which was voted a Traveler's Choice 2013 Award Winner.
Sponsored by UPHA Chapter 9, this year’s show has been extended to four days with each performance beginning at 2 pm, and the academy session starting at 9 am on Saturday Oct. 4th. Our charity for this year’s show is UPHA Ribbons of Service.
A dedicated committee is devoted to "making everything old new again" and has vowed to make this show's competition and hospitality an event to remember.
Between classes during the show visitors can enjoy four museums, take a trail ride or a horse-drawn tour; visit the graves and statues of many of horsedom's most famous, and meet Kentucky Derby winner "Funny Cide" right at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Lexington, named one of the world's most beautiful equine destinations, is at her most radiant fall beauty in October. When not enjoying the show, attendees can enjoy opening weekend of the Keeneland races, explore the Bourbon Trail or take a canoe ride, relax downtown at Thursday Night Live and attend a University of Kentucky football game, all within 20 minutes of the Kentucky Horse Park.
In addition to the lucrative Bluegrass Futurity program, The Kentucky Fall Classic also offers the KSOBA Incentive money in the junior five-gaited class for Kentucky-bred horses, as well as the introduction of $2500 jackpot classes for the three-gaited, five-gaited, fine harness and park stakes. The winning trainer will receive $500. We also offer a full array of UPHA Classic classes for Saddlebreds and Hackneys.
