American Road Horse and Pony Association Scholarship
Tuesday, July 30, 2013

This year the American Road Horse and Pony Association is pleased to announce that they will be awarding 3 college scholarships each in the amount of $1,000. These scholarships are made possible by an incentive program sponsored by the United States Equestrian Foundation. The ARHPA would like to thank the USEF for their generosity in sponsoring this scholarship. Without them, this scholarship would not be possible. This will be a onetime scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to anyone seeking an education in college. This includes: freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors, as well as those seeking a Masters degree or a Ph.D. There is no age limit to this scholarship, as many people go back to college at various ages. The ARHPA wishes to help anyone that is seeking to further their education. There will be a scholarship committee that will award the scholarships on the basis of: Community involvement, school involvement, academic success, and personal involvement in the ARHPA. Yearly salaries by either yourself or your parents will not in any way affect your eligibility for this scholarship. In order to be eligible for this scholarship you, your parents, grandparents or aunt and uncle must be a current member of the ARHPA. The ARHPA is looking to award this scholarship to the most eligible recipients.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Tom Galbreath at (606) 748-0424 or Suzanne Crabtree at (270) 668-4628. If there is no answer, please leave a voicemail with your name, number and a brief message describing your question.

Applications can be found on the Roadster Show Horses page on Facebook or by contacting Tom Galbreath. Mr. Galbreath can be contacted either by phone or email. His email address is parker7@windstream.net at which time he will either mail or email a copy of the scholarship application to you. Applications are due no later than August 16, 2013. The winners will be announced at the World Championship Horse Show in August. We would like to wish all participants the best of luck!
